Efe Korkut Kurt

Completed his undergrad education at Bilkent University Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture. He completed his summer training in Sandro Bruschi Co. in Florance, Italy. He received education in School of Architecture at Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, U.S.A. He had his graduate degree at Yıldız Technical University Institute of Science and Technology.

Presently, working on his doctoral dissertation called ‘Aesthetic Paradigm on the Interface of Contemporary Art and Architecture’ at the Doctoral Program of Architecture Faculty of Istanbul Technical University.

Between 2003 and 2009, He had worked as the design team leader at Proje Mimarlık Limited Company. In addition to his architectural studies, he has worked as an editor at Mimarlık Dekorasyon magazine between 2006 and 2009.

Since 2009, has has been the curator of many exhibitions at Alan Istanbul Contemporary Art Gallery that he founded. Since 2013, he has been the editor of WARHOLA Contemporary Art Magazine. He is working as the art consultant and art designer of many architectural projects at ALAN Project Art Solutions & Consultancy Company which he is the founder of. He is a member of AICA (International Association of Art Critics). He is giving “Design Principles and the Ways of Expression” and “Context Design” lectures as a guest instructor in Yildiz Technical University Faculty of Architecture.
