HALİL VURUCUOĞLU (b.1984)
Halil Vurucuoğlu, who was born in 1984, was graduated from Dokuz Eylül University, Fine Arts Faculty in 2007. He had five solo exhibitions in total, including his first solo exhibition titled Bambu in 2008 and one other solo exhibition in Bremen. Halil Vurucuoğlu, who participated many fairs and group exhibitions in Turkey and other countries, lives and makes his works in İstanbul recently. The artist, mostly known by his paper-cut works, also criticizing media and its discourse in addition to personal issues and social phenomenon by using different techniques like spray paint and watercolor paint.
